Although there are many fine agencies in the collection industry, RGL prides itself on being one of the best. Our clients appreciate the professional, competent and timely manner in which we handle their collection accounts.

Collection Procedure

When a client refers an account for bad debt collection, the collector will then proceed through a series of phone calls and letters to effect payment in full as quickly as possible.
If the consumer is unable to pay in full, the collector will ask questions to determine the financial situation of the consumer.
Any information obtained will determine what type of arrangements will be made to clear the account in the least amount of time.

Litigation

If the consumer fails to pay, and we have an employment or certain assets are available, the account is referred to our in-house legal counsel to pursue action on behalf of the Client in order to liquidate the accounts in a timely manner.

Collectability Chart

The chart below is based on the combined experience of the members of the Commercial Collection Agency Section of the Commercial Law League of America. Collectability Chart
The chart graphically illustrates the critical importance of taking early action when an account receivable goes past due as, even after only three months, the probability of collection drops to 72.3%, and after six months to 56.1%. At one year past due, there is a 71.6% chance that the delinquent account will never be collected.
